Enough of the Sunshine Tour! For three days we have had nothing but beautiful weather. Most people would relish that on a vacation, but not storm chasers. However, things are beginning to change weatherwise. Finally moisture is streaming onto the southern Great Plains from the Gulf of Mexico, and it looks like we should be getting some storm chasing action beginning today (Wednesday) and for the rest of the week. My brother, my students (please read their blogs), and I have enjoyed visiting Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe national parks, Monahans Sandhills State Park and the Odessa Meteor Crater (both in Texas), but now we are ready to see some severe weather.
